collection was received by James Bennett. He joined the Minnesota National Guard in 1948 serving in the 135th Infantry Regiment he was activated into federal service during the Korean War and was sent to Camp Rucker during this time. James Bennett achieved the rank of major before he retirement in the Minnesota National Guard. In the late 1990s he served as a board member of the Minnesota Mmilitay Museum.
