Content Description

Collection of Miller and Johnson photocopied documents and photos originally in 3-ring binders, these were rehoused in folders and boxed in Sept 2025. Photocopied by the Minnesota Air Guard Museum.

Miller documents include military documents and photos.

Johnson photos were apparently taken by Johnson. Many are media photos with full captions on back. Subjects include (sic): 8th Division, PX, loading a track vehicle, cargo ship, VIP and brass, Nurenburg trial, Army in snow, funeral, nurses, leisure time, Europe, Army training, NYC, Hitler, Holleywood, combat photographers, Red Cross, France, wreckage, St Valery, mobile repair, moms and babies, 12th Armored Air, 44th Div artillery, spotter plane, 75th Div, wire repair, 45th Div, Acen France, 94th Div medic, Russian, 142 Inf, Monschau bomb damage, 194th Artillery, 17th Infantry, 45th Div church, Eisenhower, alligator vehicle, 66th Inf, Gen Savez, liberation of France, 40th hospital, 347 Eng bulldozer, German 9th Army, 29th Div, 398th Artillery, 78th Div, 94th Inf Div, 503 Eng, 398th Artillery, 503rd Eng, 288 FA, 82nd Abn, 105mm artillery, Patton, Wallendorf, 3rd Army, 121st Infantry, 731st Field Artillery, Russians, Germans, Russian graves, Belgium, etc.

Approx. 50 4x6" captioned and uncaptioned black-and-white photographs taken during WWII and collected by Johnson. These may not have been part of the Air Guard Museum acquisition.
